AI Photo Editor: Describe the Change, Keep the Rest

Upload a photo, write what should change and what must stay, and download the edit.

The Remaker AI photo editor reads your photo and your instruction together. Name the change (the jacket, the background, the time of day) and the invariants (the face, the pose, the lettering), and Nano Banana 2, Flux Kontext or GPT Image 2 apply it without a manual rebuild of every layer.

How to edit a photo with AI

A good edit instruction separates what changes from what must stay. The workspace gives you one place to describe it, review the result and continue with focused corrections.

  1. 1

    Describe the result you need

Write the outcome as a short creative brief: subject, action, setting, framing, lighting and style. Put exact wording in quotes only when text must appear in the picture. For edits, name the element to change and the details that must remain untouched.

  2. 2

    Upload references when details matter

Add an image when identity, product shape, composition or art direction should guide the result, and say what each upload represents. Separating allowed changes from protected details reduces drift from the original.

  3. 3

Generate and refine one change at a time

Create the first image, inspect identity, geometry, text and light, keep what works and request one precise revision. Each round gives the model a clearer target.

Photo editing workflows

Three practical edits the photo editor handles well.

Swap the background

Describe the new setting and the light it should cast; ask for the subject, pose and clothing to stay unchanged with natural edge blending.

Edit a photo

Change an outfit or material

Name the garment or surface and its new colour or fabric, and list everything that must stay as it is.

Edit a photo

Remove or add an object

Say which object to remove and what should fill the space, or describe the object to add and where it sits in the scene.

AI photo editor questions

Which models does the photo editor use?

Nano Banana 2 by default, with Nano Banana Pro, Flux Kontext, GPT Image 2, GPT-4o Image, Seedream 5 and Qwen Image in the picker. Kontext and GPT Image preserve unmentioned details most strictly; Nano Banana Pro gives the highest-fidelity finish.

How many reference images can I use?

It depends on the model: Nano Banana routes accept up to 14, GPT Image routes up to 15 or 16, Seedream 5 up to 10 and Flux Kontext up to 4. The workspace shows the limit.

How much does AI Photo Editor cost on Remaker AI?

The credit quote for the selected model, resolution and number of images is shown in the workspace before you generate. Images are billed per result; confirmed failures return the credits.

Is AI Photo Editor on Remaker AI free?

Browsing is free. The Free plan runs a selected set of models at 1K with welcome and check-in credits; Starter, Pro and Unlimited plans unlock every model and resolution.

Do downloads have a watermark?

No. Every image downloads without a watermark on every plan, and you can use it in personal and commercial projects under our terms.

Are my uploads and results private?

Yes. Uploads and results are visible only in your account. Upload only images you have the right to use; Remaker AI does not offer face swapping.
