Image Klein and FLUX video are different choices
Choose an image workflow when your output should be a still illustration, portrait edit or product composition. Choose a video model when the output needs movement over time. Similar family names do not make the output format interchangeable.
What the official model card establishes
The published card describes one model for image generation, single-reference editing and multi-reference composition. It lists up to 10 reference images. The 5.6B figure refers to the image transformer; its text encoder is separate.
The reference workflow expands a short instruction into a full scene caption before inference. The official card explicitly advises against using the model without prompt upsampling. A short raw prompt and the expanded workflow are not equivalent tests.
Pick an access path deliberately
The publisher links downloadable weights and reference code. Self-hosting means supplying the supporting components, compatible inference environment and the license conditions for your use. Read the current model card and license before deploying it in a service.
If you want to edit a photo in Remaker now, choose from the models actually shown in the workspace. A result generated with Nano Banana, GPT Image or Flux Kontext should keep that model’s label; do not call it a FLUX 3 Image Klein result.
Compare using a small image brief
Use one authorized photo and one edit, such as changing a background while retaining a product’s shape. Keep the requested output size and reference set comparable. Judge identity or product fidelity, composition, text and practical turnaround separately; a model-family name is not a quality guarantee.
